Our Story
We live here. We grew up here. And every single day, this river and this forest still surprise us.
Sierpe sits at the edge of Corcovado National Park — the most biologically intense place on the planet, according to National Geographic. The Sierpe River cuts through the largest mangrove wetland in Central America before opening into the Pacific, where humpback whales pass twice a year and sharks circle volcanic islands with ancient stone spheres on their shores.
We are José and Angie. We are not a company that sells tours. We are a family that shares the place we love most — with people who are ready to see it.
Every experience is 100% private — your family only, with José or Angie guiding.

From Our Guests
"I never thought I would be able to see something like this again. José figured out a way to show me a tapir and her calf — up close, in the wild — even with my mobility and vision limitations. I cried. This was the most meaningful experience of my entire trip to Costa Rica."
